On June 20th, 2024, BIOMETHAVERSE organized the “Innovative Biomethane Production Routes in Europe” event in Thessaloniki, Greece. The workshop aimed to reflect on sustainable energy solutions by showcasing the most contemporary technologies and insights into 
biomethane integration.
During the event, Q-PLAN had the opportunity to present the ALFA project, emphasizing its contributions to sustainable energy solutions. The presentation highlighted the project’s innovative approaches and potential impacts on Europe’s energy landscape.
The workshop provided insights into the future of biomethane in Greece, exploring how it can be integrated into the country’s energy mix. The event featured various presentations and discussions on the latest advancements in biomethane production and utilization.
