DESCRIPTION:AGENDA \nOctober 30th \n9:00 – 9:30 Welcome \nWelcome catering and icebreaker activity: “Find Your Number.” \n9:30 – 10:00 Presentation \nSession opening by Carla Sebastiani and Daniel Matilla (Sustainable Innovations\, HUB Managers of the ALFA project). Introduction of the speakers: Luis Puchades (AEBIG\, Spanish Biogas Association)\, Amparo Fresneda (IDEA\, Spanish Institute for the Diversification and Saving of Energy)\, and Jacobo Bouzada (JB Ingenieros\, local company specialised in biogas solutions). \n10:00 – 10:30 What is the ALFA Project and What Does It Offer? (Sustainable Innovations\, Spanish HUB of the ALFA project) \nCarla Sebastiani and Daniel Matilla (Sustainable Innovations\, Spanish HUB of the ALFA project) will present the ALFA project\, funded by the European Union. In this presentation\, they will explain the efforts being made in this project to facilitate the implementation of biogas systems in livestock farming and how the project can assist farmers. \n10:30 – 11:00 Synergies Between Biogas and Livestock Farming\, a Necessary Relationship (Luis Puchades\, AEBIG) \nLuis Puchades\, President of the Spanish Biogas Association (AEBIG)\, will detail Spain’s potential for biogas production. In his presentation\, he will analyse the available technology and knowledge in our country and how these can be leveraged to enhance collaboration between livestock farming and the energy sector. \n11:00 – 11:15 Break \n11:15 – 11:45 The Biogas Roadmap and Pre-feasibility Studies (Amparo Fresneda\, IDAE) \nAmparo Fresneda\, from the BIOENERGY and WASTE Department of the Institute for the Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDAE)\, part of the Spanish Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge\, will explain the Pre-feasibility Studies offered by this organization free of charge. She will relate these services to the so-called Biogas Roadmap proposed by the Spanish Government. \n11:45 – 12:15 BIOGASTUR: Sustainable Success Despite Challenges (Jacobo Bouzada\, JB Ingenieros) \nJacobo Bouzada\, Managing Partner of JB Ingenieros\, will share the story behind BIOGASTUR\, a biogas plant for which he is the Technical Director. BIOGASTUR is one of the largest plants in Spain\, capable of transforming up to 1\,200 tons per day of slurry and other waste from various dairy farms of Central Lechera Asturiana into energy resources. \n12:15 – 12:30 Break \n12:30 – 13:45 Networking \nA networking session coordinated by Sustainable Innovations\, divided into several stages:  \n\nSpeed networking for introductions among attendees.\nCo-creation workshop: The Magic Wand. In groups with different profiles\, we will reflect on the topics discussed during the session.\n\n13:45 – 14:30 Closure \nAn open floor for attendees who wish to share an idea or comment with the group.
